Who We Are
The À-Ma-Baie Youth House is a non-profit organization that was created on July 17, 1990 by the “Cloverdale Coordination Table.” Our mission is to provide a lively living environment where young people between the ages of 12 and 17 can develop friendships, get involved in different projects, and be active in the community. We believe in encouraging young people to be active, critical, and responsible, and we’re proud to have been doing so for over three decades.
Our organization was created by more than 15 organizations and institutions that had identified young people and their families as a priority for action. We responded to urgent needs by creating resources such as a collective kitchen, a popular restaurant, a multi-ethnic association, and a prevention project for children.

Today, the À-Ma-Baie Youth House is an exclusive gathering place for young adolescents. We offer a range of programs and services that promote education, meet extracurricular needs, and foster intercultural interaction among young people aged 12 to 17.
As we celebrate our 33rd anniversary in 2023, we’re proud of the positive impact we’ve had on the lives of countless young people in our community. Thank you for considering the À-Ma-Baie Youth House as a resource for the young people in your life.
